quilt

Here is my latest quilt top, made for my niece in New York for Christmas. I think it turned out just peachy. The design was inspired by a quilt on Anne of Green Gables, and several different quilts and techniques I have seen at quilt guild. I call the middle panel "shooting star."

Wow. That's way impressive. A lot of work. Who are you making it for?

It's for the daughter of my brother-in-law & sister-in-law. They live in NY, and Grace drew their daughter's name for Christmas.

i love it. you'll have to bring it to quilt guild so i can see it close-up. maybe you will motivate me to start a new quilt.

You should come over to see the quilt and work out the blanket stitch. The quilt is going to New York before I can show it at the January meeting. I can do blanket stitches, but mine aren't so pretty, so maybe you could offer a fresh perspective.
