Children

I was going through some old photos and found this:

Have you ever tried to take a portrait of a large number of children? One of whom (read my daughter in black on the left who is desperately trying to escape) has not eaten enough? It's so great. No, seriously.

PS: I read this in Reader's Digest today: I have CDO. It's like OCD but with the letters in alphabetical order, like they're supposed to be.

Jenny, your posts always make me laugh. I think I may have CDO, too.

Grace and Madelyn need to meet. Grace is just the sort of girl she would get along with. They could get into all sorts of mischief together and refuse to pose for pictures.

I have spent the last two years trying to get just two children to cooperate in giving me a decent photo. With zero luck.

Too funn about CDO, my husband has that as well as a random and lovely desire to iron.

Kids and cameras are a bad combination. You either have the type that love the camera and run towards it or the "haters". No getting good pics of them for anything. My mom said I was a hater and therefore she took no pics:(

Loving CDO. That OCD thing can stress out some people having it all out of order and stuff:)

Tee hee hee...CDO.

And kids and cameras do make for some interesting combinations. Either they are "Super Posers" (a few of my nieces fall into this category and every photo looks like a bad JC Penney catalog) or they run from the camera. Is there no happy medium here, people?

At least this photo was honest.

I read that in Reader's digest also.
It should be CDO.

Maybe not the tightest composition, but individually the images of each kid are . . . arresting. (And they're beautiful kids, even if some are quite sad.) Love the OCD joke, too.
