It was finally dry enough today to make caramels. So I did. Yaaaaaaay! I also dipped pretzel sticks in the caramel, and I intend to drizzle something or other over them, too. A little lesson I learned last year: DO NOT put hot caramel dipped pretzels on waxed paper to cool—unless you like the taste of waxed paper mixed with caramel and pretzels.
My fingers have been severely burned in several places, so sympathy is appreciated.
