See Jane Decorate Her Son's Room

I got this idea for decorating Henry's room from A Little Sussy a long time ago, but I just barely found some embroidery hoops at my neighbor's garage sale to complete the project. I had leftovers from Henry's quilt I wanted to use for this. I love fabric, and I am so happy to be able to keep some of my scraps and stash on display.

I love the fabric! I remember those primer readers from 30 years ago. I feel so old now.

His room looks great.

Hopefully someday you'll hear Henry say to a girl at church "Look, Jane, look. I can work." Or you might hear him say while playing "See something funny. See Tim." Then you'll know that the subliminal messaging was effective :)

Aside from any potential for hilarious anecdotes, I really do like it :)

I just might steal that idea...

So, so cute! Bravo, Jen!

(And, might I say, kudos to you for giving Sussy credit where credit is due. I look at another blog and they did this exact thing acting as if it was their idea. Oh brother! I know I'm catty, but that kind of thing bugs me.)

I could use a new embroidery hoop. I don't suppose there's any change... er... you might be willing to... ummm.

Great idea...and that would translate into a great way to display fabric in my sewing room!!! I'm off to Value Village to look for hoops! Thanks! xo, Nan
