Dreadful News

I decided to give Henry boy a little trim while we were at the grandparents' house last night. I was almost done. I went to do a second pass with the #4 on top, when right as I came in for a swipe, the guard fell off, and I shaved a big bald spot front and slightly off-center. And now we have a little child who will get sympathy from strangers for cancer he doesn't have. Maybe I should have left a mohawk?

From now on, I must leave this important task to the hands (and clippers) of trained professionals. (Ahem, Bonnie and Susannah.)

Oh my goodness! (But seriously, milk the sympathy for all it's worth.)

Oh dear! Ha ha ha! Poor dear! He does look like a little cancer victim! Oh no! :) :) :) I'm laughing my head off.

Ohhhh poor guy. It will be back before you know it though. Which reminds me, I need to give my boys a trim tonight. But no worries. I'm a semi-trained beauty school drop-out.

I've done this before....actually multiple times. Sometimes I just let the hair stay long around the shaved chunk, because it always looks so fabulous.

Ha ha! He's still so cute though. But that's very funny.

I bet he gets lots of free candy from sympathetic strangers. Don't let unknown old ladies be hugging on him, please?

ACK!!! I think I would have had a heart attack. At least Grace's hair mishap wasn't quite so drastic...

Good choice on the mohawk thing, though. Better bald than ugly. (I hate mohawks. Hate faux-hawks as well, for different reasons.)

OHG! How much longer does he have to live? Is he in pain? How are you holding up? Give that boy a cup and stand him on a street corner!!! You could make MILLIONS! Call Make a Wish - get your fam a free trip to Disney World! Think of the possibilities here!!!! Jen - you're a genius!!

I think he looks adorable! And he'll be all fuzzy soon enough. Sounds like what you really need is a new set of clippers.

Weren't you just telling me the other day that his hair grows insanely fast? Hopefully it continues. For now, you should make some felt cars for him to play with on his head. They would totally stick!!!
